Privacy Policy.
We built OneShot Legal on the assumption that the only good way to handle other people's contracts is to handle as little of them as possible. The policy below describes, in plain English, exactly what that means.
01What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to process your review and payment. This includes: your contract file (held in memory only, discarded immediately after your review is generated), your answers to the three questions on the review form, and your email address if you choose to email yourself a copy of your results.
02What we do not collect
We do not store your contract. We do not store your analysis. We do not create an account for you. We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
03How your contract is processed
Your contract is sent to Anthropic (the company that makes the Claude AI model) via their API for analysis. Anthropic processes it under their standard data handling terms. Your contract is not used to train AI models. For details, see Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com.
04Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe retains a record of the transaction for legal and accounting purposes. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com for details.
05Email
If you choose to email yourself a copy of your results, your email address is passed to Resend (our email delivery provider) to send that one message. We do not store your email address after the message is sent.
06Your rights
You have the right to ask what data we hold about you. Because we do not store contracts, analyses, or personal data beyond what Stripe retains for payment records, there is typically nothing to retrieve or delete. For any questions, contact us at [email protected].
07Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL. Material changes will be noted in the version line at the top of the document.
